The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. Through didactic instruction and active participation in simulated cases, students will enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS). The goal of this course is to improve outcomes for adult patients of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies through early recognition and interventions by high-performance teams.
Successful completion of this course requires:
- Completion of ALL online pre-course work (instructions and access included in the confirmation email), and
- Successful completion of a hands-on skills evaluation, and
- Successful participation as a Team Leader for a case of a patient with a cardiovascular emergency, and
- Scoring a minimum of 84% on a written exam

***Cancellations/Reschedules received less than 72 hours before the course date, as well as students who "No Show" to the course are not eligible for refunds.
Students are encouraged to submit an email address checked often, as all course communication will be delivered by email. Also, the AHA now requires eCards (electronic course completion cards) be issued via email, so the email address provided during registration is the email address your eCard will be sent to.

Professionals needing to complete the BLS for the Healthcare Provider program also, we are pleased to offer a package bundle. Students MUST complete the Heartcode BLS for the Healthcare Provider Part 1 course online, print certificate and bring to the ACLS course. At the conclusion of the course, students will complete the skills testing to meet program requirements.
