The BLS for Healthcare Provider course is designed for a wide variety of healthcare professionals. Upon successful completion of this course, the provider will have the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and assist a person who is choking in a timely and effective manner. The BLS for the Healthcare Provider course is appropriate for anyone entering the healthcare field (or students) or that is currently a healthcare professional.
Successful completion of this course requires:
- Successful completion of a hands-on skills evaluation, and
- Scoring a minimum of 84% on a written exam.

***Cancellations/Reschedules received less than 72 hours before the course date, as well as students who "No Show" to the course are not eligible for refunds.
Students are encouraged to submit an email address checked often, as all course communication will be delivered by email. Also, the AHA now requires eCards (electronic course completion cards) be issued via email, so the email address provided during registration is the email address your eCard will be sent to.
